  • JISC CETIS Portfolio Special Interest Group
  • 21/06/07 - University of Manchester

This session not only enabled us to meet with similar JISC-funded projects, but helped us with the interoperability issues - basically, due to a lack of standards between e-portfolio and educational systems, the project is justified in enabling learners to download selected files and blog entries to transportable media.  In this way, students can create and move files between systems more easily (at present) - creating, e.g., backups of work or showcase DVD's for example.
